Profile

Md. Redwanul Hasan is an Advocate of the District & Sessions Judge Court, Dhaka, enrolled with the Bangladesh Bar Council and a member of the Dhaka District Bar Association. He is currently serving as an Associate at BLACKSTONE Legal, where he is engaged in a broad spectrum of litigation, legal research, and advisory services. Mr. Redwan completed his Dakhil (equivalent to the Secondary School Certificate) from Daraunnazat Siddikia Kamil Madrasah, Dhaka in 2014 and his Alim (equivalent to the Higher Secondary School Certificate) from Badargonj Bakibillah Kamil Madrasah, Chuadanga in 2016. He subsequently obtained his LL.B. (Honours) in 2020 and LL.M. in 2021 from Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh.

His academic background has equipped him with a strong foundation in legal theory, jurisprudence, and practical legal analysis. With a strong interest in legal scholarship and professional development, Mr. Hasan remains actively engaged in the study and application of contemporary legal principles and jurisprudence. Mr. Redwan regularly assists in conducting comprehensive legal research, preparing pleadings, petitions, written submissions, contracts, and other legal documents, while providing strategic support in litigation and dispute resolution matters. Professional Experience

Mr. Redwan has served in various legal and advisory capacities, gaining extensive experience in litigation, legal research, corporate advisory, and human rights law. He worked as an Associate at Legal Up, under the mentorship of Learned Advocate Muhammad Asadullah, where he conducted extensive criminal law research, prepared trial notes and legal documents, and assisted in legal opinions and case strategy.

He also served as an Associate at The Attorney World, Advocates & Barristers, where he handled complex civil and criminal law matters, litigation support, and legal research.

In addition, Mr. Redwan acted as Panel Lawyer for FnF Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and Smart Soft Ltd., advising on company, civil, and criminal law issues, litigation management, and legal documentation.

As a Legal Advisor (Human Rights) with the International Legal Aid Foundation (ILAF), Dhaka Division, he conducted legal analysis on human rights violations, drafted legal opinions and submissions, assisted in fact-finding and evidence collection, supported victim representation, and contributed to strategic litigation and advocacy initiatives.

He further served as a Research Associate (Contract Based) at Carrier Aid Publication, where he conducted legal research and trial-related work on various criminal law matters, including homicide, violence against women and children, cybercrime, arms-related offences, narcotics cases, and other significant criminal prosecutions.

Notable Litigation Experience

Mr. Hasan has been involved in a broad spectrum of complex criminal, family, and appellate litigation before the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and various subordinate courts. He has assisted in matters involving homicide, kidnapping, robbery, narcotics offences, cybercrime, family disputes, smuggling, human trafficking, and labour law issues.

His notable litigation experience includes Brahmanbaria Husband Murder Case (Death Reference No. 121 of 2018 and Criminal Appeal No. 4110 of 2021), Gazipur Robbery Case (Death Reference No. 110 of 2018 and Criminal Appeal No. 9512 of 2018), PP Habibur Murder Case (Shariatpur), Hazaribagh Seven Murder Case, Jamil Akhtar Ratan Murder Case (Rajshahi Medical College), and Tawfiq Hasan Kidnap and Murder Case (Kushtia).

He has also been involved in significant family law disputes, including Barrister Sirajum Monir Subha vs. Md. Rabiul Alam, Jesmin vs. Badsha Alam, A.M. Ekramul Hasan vs. Zobaida Hasan, and Dr. Foysal vs. Dr. Nurun Nahar, involving issues relating to custody, dower (denmohor), restitution of conjugal rights, and matrimonial relief.
